Q: Do I have to pay for both movies?
A: No, we book the films as double features, so the $20 admission price covers BOTH films.
Q: Do I have to stay for both movies?
A: No, you can leave the theater at any time.
Q: Can I come for just the 2nd movie?
A: Yes, the gate will stay open through intermission to allow cars to come in for the 2nd film.
Q: Can I buy tickets in advance?
A: Sorry, we do not sell advance tickets at this time.
Q: How do you get the sound for the movie?
A: We transmit over 88.1 FM so you just tune your car stereo to that channel to hear the film. We also have speakers positioned on the corners of the snack bar so if you park near them you can hear that way as well.
Q: Are you dog friendly?
A: Yes! We are more than happy to accomodate your pets! We do ask that you please clean up after them, and please refrain from bringing them into the snack bar.
Q: What are you playing on such and such date?
A: We only book shows about 2 weeks in advance but we do have a list of films we've requested to play. Click the "Schedule" menu above to see the potential bookings.
Q: Can I bring my own food?
A: We would prefer that you don't but we won't turn you away if you do. We respectfully like to remind our guests that the only way we can keep the lights on is by selling concessions, so please consider dropping by our snack bar.
Q: What time should we get in line?
A: It depends from night to night. Friday and Saturday are our busiest nights, I typically recommend getting here on those nights about one hour before the show starts to get a good spot, but we do occasionally fill up faster than that.
Q: Do you accept credit/debit cards?
A: We do, but we prefer cash at the ticket booth if possible due to the processing time associated with credit cards. Sometimes it is so busy at the ticket booth we don't have a ton of time to spare with cards.
Q: Do you have restrooms?
A: Yes, we have a restroom on opposite sides of the snack bar.
Q: Can I smoke or vape?
A: No, it is illegal in the state of Maine to smoke or vape anywhere where food is served, including drive-in theaters. Smoking in your own vehicle is also not allowed if you are inside the theater. You may walk up to the front entrance past the ticket booth and smoke, but no smoking is permitted inside the gates. No drugs of any kind are permitted on the premises. Anyone caught will be asked to leave without a refund.
Q: Will my car battery die?
A: Probably not, but in the event it does we can almost always assist with a jumpstart.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: If it rains during the movie we will keep playing through the show. We only close if our parking lot floods from heavy rain during the day, and we will post about it on our Facebook page by 4pm the day of the show.
